Is it me or is the time a bit slow? I kept thinking that Raelan has gone beyond three months but he’s only at 2 and a half months old though we were only opening his baby gifts two months ago. I think maybe because his physical development is much faster than Raelynne’s one at this age. Raelynne was still quite small size at this age but Raelan has surpassed that and I kept thinking that he’s older than he is… hahaha…

Anyway, this little boy’s development is quite fast in terms of physical build. He also likes to talk alot. Actually he likes people to talk to him and he will respond back. So far he has not gone out from the house much. He is different from the sister whereby last time the sister will sleep when we are travelling in the car or in the stroller. However, this little boy will be wide awake and keep looking here and there and being very curious of his environment.

Everyone at home enjoys talking to him even though he doesn’t say anything that you can understand. Not sure if he will be talkative in the future or not. At this age, he also tried to turn himself as well.

Raelynne went to school this morning for the first time in her life. It was actually a trial day for her as the teacher said to put her in for one day trial and see how she goes.

Based on the feedback obtained, Raelynne received many praises from her teacher. Raelynne also refused to go home when it was time to go. So most likely we are going to register her into the school. At least she is able to learn something new and Mummy can take 2 hours time off from her and just look after Raelan.

Being unable to call out or people calling in is really difficult. I now realised that mobile phone is such a necessity in our lives especially when it comes to official business. People can’t get in touch with you during emergencies or any other important matters.

To date, there’s no definite time when will the signal be up and a check with the Maxis retail shop across the road revealed that their network is down as well as they are unable to advise when it will be up again. They have the cheek to talk about their promotional products some more when we can’t even use our mobile phone.

However, I have seen companies who performed their market research well as they are able to capture market share with their products and services.

Raelan, our little boy likes to talk. Well talk as in coo-ing and making sounds. In fact, he likes people to talk to him, ask him questions, etc even though he doesn’t understand. Then he will respond to you with sound as if he is replying to your conversation. It doesn’t matter what topic, you can talk about commercial real estate, or talk about the sister, talk about the Mummy, surely there will be a respond.

Talk to him all the time and he will respond back to you. He can even laugh when you speak to him long enough and gives you a big smile. Yvonne has mentioned to me that this boy is talkative by looking at his lips… maybe it is true after all! Don’t forget he is only two months old… so I assume that he will be more talkative when he’s older.

This was meant to be posted earlier but I have been so busy for the past two days that leaves me no time to do this post. Anyway, we celebrated Raelynne’s birthday on Sunday, 22nd June together with my niece, Reayana who’s birthday falls on 23rd.

We made it lunch time since its more convenient for us and mainly invited close relatives only. Raelynne has been waiting for this day for many weeks now since we tell her that her birthday is coming soon. She was very excited.

I took her out to fetch her Kung Kung (FIL) and later to pick up the cake in the city. Earlier in the morning, she had a fever which lasted few hours and it went back to normal after that. Not sure why she had fever but then it was on and off until today thus I found out that I think her big teeths are coming out. She has about 4 more big teeths inside that yet to come out.

After picking up the cake, we came back around noon time and the food caterer already delivered the food in custom boxes. After lunch, the moment arrived where the cake was brought out.

I ordered two cakes from Secret Recipe, one for Reayana and one for Raelynne. I found out that nowadays they can “print” on the icing any photo or picture that you wanted.

For Raelynne’s cake, we asked her what she would like to have, so the first thing she said was choo choo train. So the closest choo choo train that she knows is Thomas. So I decided to get the Thomas picture for her cake instead.

Its a pity that I missed out the photo opportunity or video of Raelynne when I took out the cakes. My goodness, she was so overly excited and smiled so broad. Then she started dancing round and round and round. I think she has been waiting for this moment for a very long time already.

She also has been practicing how to blow candles . Look at the photo above, her lips showing how she wants to blow the candles. Of course other kids (cousins) also wanted to blow candles.

I think she was the happiest of them all on that day. Her happiness doesn’t end there and then as well. At night she was singing Happy Birthday to Kung Kung, to Yeh Yeh, to Poh Poh, to Daddy, to Mummy, almost everybody that she can remember. Then she tells you… Daddy, blow cake, phooooo! … hahahaha.
