As a person involved in IT almost all my life, I have always loved playing games. However it depends on what type of games as well. When I was younger, I’d play all those first shooter games where you just blast all enemies away. Now that I am older, those games are a bit too much for me.

Recently, I was brought to the attention of this wonderful game where you can buy online for US$19.95. The title is The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes. I have always love Sherlock Holmes and the mysteries that he solve. I managed to download this game and the first time I played it, I was engrossed with it for 2 hours as it was quite addictive.

There’s a total of 16 cases in this game to be solved and the game is easily navigated. You can either play full screen or windowed. Instead of just watching Sherlock Holmes, you can become Sherlock Holmes himself and solve the mysteries or cases in the game.

What I love about this game is that you don’t need a powerful PC to run it. Most games nowadays requires you to have powerful display cards and CPUs. However, this game runs even on my notebook with a basic display adapter which is wonderful. What this mean for me is that I can travel and be mobile and at the same time enjoy this game. The graphics are great even if you have a basic display adapter.

So far I have solved one case and there’s 15 more to go. The first case was challenging and I look forward to solve all other 15 cases. If you are looking at an interesting game, do try out The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes. Its easy to play with on screen tips and guide. It probably helps keep your brain healthy because it makes you think about the case and how you go about solving it.

Basically we can sing the song in less than 15 seconds with her singing the last word. That’s how good her memory is. Even when watching this Penguin Primo every morning around 8.25am, she would tell me what would happen before the penguin even performed the act. There was one time the penguin turned on the hot water, before the penguin turned it on, she already said HOT HOT HOT!

I have also been trying to teach her to count fully from 1 to 10 but then she always misses out number 7. That includes English and Mandarin version.

Yesterday afternoon, after a havoc night and day, I just managed to find time to pack up all the bears into individual bags. Raelynne has been driving me up the wall lately which I don’t blame her. Its probably more to my temper which tends to go up more quickly than before. Maybe its because she’s causing me lack of sleep… hahaha. I have to remind myself not to boil up.

Anyway, weather wasn’t so good all weekend, and Sunday was tied up managing Raelynne until I missed the opportunity to meet up with Sasha. Oh yeah, Sasha was in KK during weekend!

Took out all the bears including additional ones that I bought. At first I told Raelynne that I’m taking out the bears and she thought only one. Once I take out one by one until all 60 plus of them were showered on her, she smiled so wide! Hahaha. She was so happy and perhaps thought maybe it was for her. So had to tell her that we have to give them away to Uncles and Aunties. Basically all the bears covered her from head to toe as you can see from the photo.

At first she didn’t want to let them go, but after much persuasion and told her the reason, she said okay. Of course we gave her one of the bigger ones for her to keep.

Our little boy is now three weeks old and about one week more before full moon. Daddy is busy preparing for full moon celebration. Will need to shop the necessary items and also send out stuff to friends and relatives.

I last weight this little boy two days ago and he was about 2.80kg. That means he has put on at least 400grammes since birth. I have yet to measure his height but will try to do so. This time around, Raelan will not be visiting the paediatrician for one month old jab. Apparently, paed said he was given a jab during birth which does not require another jab at one month old. So he’s only getting the next jab when he turn two months.

Oh yes, as you can see from his two photos above, he has this sleeping style. He likes to put his hand on his forehead as if he is saluting to you .

Lately, this little boy is not sleeping at night that easily. It will take Mummy an hour to put him to sleep. Not sure why but maybe he sleeps too much in the day time. He also doesn’t like to be swaddled into towels or blankets as well and would like to keep his hands free for movement.

You can’t blame her. She has been yearning to carry her little brother since day one he came home. However of course due to Raelan being “fragile” at this stage, definitely can’t let her carry him. Now few weeks has past, Raelan is getting stronger and not as fragile as he was first born, so we allowed Raelynne to carry him after asking for it so many times. Of course she carries him with the help of Mummy to support Raelan.

I can see that the big jie jie (sister) is quite loving when carrying him. Occasionally she would say “Sayang” in a soft voice. But of course, little brother doesn’t feel comfortable after awhile and started crying and Raelynne started to whine disliking him to cry… hahahaha.

Sometimes Raelynne doesn’t know her own strength and can be rough thus we have to keep a close watch on her. When Raelynne hit me, it can be quite painful as well.

So far she has been quite nice to Raelan so maybe being jealous is not the main reason she’s acting up. Yeah, maybe terrible twos started early and she still has the same behaviour. At night she whines a lot and I believed one of her big teeth at the bottom is growing because she kept biting on the side and I can see some whitish on the gums.

I can tell you that she consumes MORE milk at night than her brother. Yeah, its like every two three hours. She can take up to 3 or 4 times a night depending on her mood and her brother can take about 2 times only. I wonder when will this end? Can’t wait for her to be weaned off totally from night feed.

Since last two weekends, I have been searching for giveaways for Raelan’s full moon. The teddy bears are part of the giveaways and it is not easy to find lots of teddy bears. Apart from teddy bears, I have also looked for carry bags and it was quite difficult as well to buy them in bulk. Went through almost all the gift shops in KK and they don’t see the numbers that I wanted. They only have what is available in the shop like five or six only.

Same goes with the teddy bears. I said I wanted 60 teddy bears and the sales girl looked at me and asked herself why would this guy want so many teddy bears?

I am still short of teddy bears but I need a minimum of 60 teddy bears. A few more extras would be good. Anyway, in conjunction with Raelan’s upcoming full moon, I’m running a guessing contest here in my blog. I don’t remember running any contest here or giving away anything. So I’ll make it simple, as simple as Sasha’s jambu contest .

All you need to do is just guess how many teddy bears are there in total in the photo above. I’ve given away the hint. I need 60 but have yet to get 60 teddy bears. What’s up for grabs? Okay, not giving away the teddy bear since I am short, so I’ll give away USD15.

Raelan is now around 2 weeks 2 days old. So far, can see that he has grown quite a bit and has already developed his own personality.

I have not weight him and measured him of late, so I think he should put on another 100-200grammes and probably grown about 1cm.  He doesn’t like to be disturbed at all when he’s sleeping or even when he’s not. He would cry is Mummy wipe him and change him or if my Mum bath him.

Other than that, he’s quite well behave and only cries when he’s hungry or if he’s being disturbed. All he does is mainly sleep. He responds to sound and brightness of late so he would look where the sound would come from.

When burping, he would often lift up his head and turn here and there even when he’s not able to support his own head fully yet.

At two weeks plus old, Raelan has become “UNCLE” today with the new addition of a baby girl being born to my niece. Yup, Raelan is “Uncle” and Raelynne is “Aunty” and I have become a “Grand Uncle”. Hahaha… it made us sound so old.

When I checked back some photos of Raelynne and compared them to Raelan, their sleeping style is almost the same. They both like to sleep with their hands above their head. And yes, they both have the same facial features at this age. Will post a side by side comparison soon.

Say hello to our new telephone operator. Now whenever the phone rings, she will be the first one to run to the telephone and pick it up. Before she would just keep quiet and listen, but nowadays there’s improvement where she would say hello and listen attentively. If you ask her, I want to look for “Yeh Yeh” (Grandfather) she would shout and call her “Yeh Yeh”.

The only thing is that sometimes when you ask her a yes or no question, she would instead nod or shake head instead of saying it. Or if you ask her to bid bye bye, she would use her hand to show bye bye instead of telling the caller bye bye.

When we were at the shopping mall, FIL decided to take Raelynne for a hair cut. Well actually she’s due for a hair cut anyway especially the front because it has reached her eyes. Before, whenever we ask her if she wants to go for haircut, she will refuse. This time around, didn’t ask her. FIL just brought her to the saloon whom he knew the hair stylist. FIL carried Raelynne and sat on the chair. To my surprise, she sat quietly and allowed the lady to cut her hair. So I told the hair stylist to cut shorter some more after she has cut her hair.

At least now, her hair doesn’t cause her any itchiness on her forehead and her eyes. Didn’t cut the back since I’m not sure if wifey wants it to be cut.

This is the second time she went for a hair cut. So next time wanna go hair cut, must call FIL already. And you know what? The hair cut cost me RM2
